Description
6" (15 cm.) cradle. A cradle is constructed with cast brass frame, mother of pearl shell bed and rigid metal curtain that appears as though softly draped on the brass overhang. Contained in the cradle is a small German all bisque baby with painted hair and facial features, nicely costumed, and seated alongside is a 4" baby with blonde sculpted hair, painted facial features, pin-jointed bisque limbs in bent baby pose, bare feet, layered baby costume. Excellent condition. Circa 1890.
