Description

 30" (76 cm.) Bisque socket head with elongated facial modeling and full cheeks, blue glass sleep eyes with spiral threading, dark eye-liner encircles the eye sockets, incised eyeliner, painted lashes, thick brush-stroked brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth, shaded and outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, antique blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. SH 16 949. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: gorgeous dewy patina of  bisque enhances the deeply sculpted facial features, the doll wears a lavish multi-layered antique costume.
