Description
12" (30 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with blonde sculpted hair waved away from forehead into soft pageboy curls held by black painted snood with unusual center band, pink lustre band and bows at the crown and side, painted facial features, cobalt blue eyes, closed mouth with hint of smile, (new) muslin body and bisque limbs, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value Points: rare coiffure with unusual glazed highlights of hair band.
