15" (38 cm.) Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue enamel inset eyes with darker blue outer rims, delicately painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented pale lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset -jointing at elbows, hips and knees, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent, body especially sturdy and fresh. Marks: 2. Comments: attributed to Pierre-Francois Jumeau, circa 1875. Value Points: fine well-preserved condition of the elegant lady with lovely bisque, wearing 1875-era grey plaid and magenta silk walking suit, purple velvet bonnet with floral trim, undergarments, stockings, black kid ankle boots with little wooden heels marked T in shield.
