Each is brown muslin with flat-dimension face, embroidered facial features with large yellow irises and "O" shaped stitched pupils, stitched smiling lips, black yarn hair in tight curls and braids, brown muslin one-piece body, hand-made cotton costumes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: handmade by Bessie Hissum, 1946 (hand written note on each doll).
