18" (46 cm.) Composition socket head, blue sleep eyes, real lashes, dark eyeshadow, painted lashes, closed mouth, brunette hair in bangs and braids, five piece composition body. Condition: generally excellent, few light lines on face. Marks: Alexander (dress and doll tagged). Margaret O'Brien (clover leaf paper label on wrist). Comments: Alexander, circa 1938, portrait doll of the child film star Margaret O'Brien. Value Points: superb unplayed with condition of the rare doll wearing her original checkered dress, undergarments, socks, shoes, pink straw bonnet.
