Bisque socket head with round facial modeling, large brown glass googly side-glancing sleep eyes, thick black eye-liner encircles the eye cuts, short fringed dark upper lashes, angled feathered brows, accented nostrils of tiny upturned nose, closed mouth with impish smiling expression, accented lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body, well costumed in calico print dress, undergarments, red leather shoes, straw bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: G made in Germany 11 221y Ges Gesch (plaster pate also marked 221). Comments: Kestner, circa 1912, their own trademarked googly model that closely resembles the glass-eyed O'Neill Kewpie that the firm also produced. Value Points: wonderful size of the delightful googly with outstanding quality of bisque, painting, and complexion, original body and body finish.
