Description
4.5" (11 cm.) One piece all-bisque figural depicts Kewpie with folded arms seated on a "wicker" chair at a garden table. Kewpie wears a formal top hat and on the table is arranged a champagne bottle, glass and cigarette with ash tray. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (crown symbol) W Depose (incised ) c. (black stamp. Comments: Germany, circa 1910. Value Points: very rare and artfully designed amusing Kewpie figural.
