Description
10" (25 cm.) Cast iron vignette portrays a black jockey in red costume and cap seated atop a mule with harness and saddle. When coin inserted and lever pulled the jockey propels forward, tumbling off the mule and falling head first onto the ground. Coin plate missing, unrestored but paint well worn, lever needs adjustment. J&E Stevens, circa 1885.
