Description
9" (23 cm.) 9"l. Cast iron vignette depicts Jonah and friend in a small yellow boat facing a large whale on a sea of waves. When a coin is placed on Jonah's head and the lever pushed, Jonah moves forward, drops the coin in the whale's mouth that is hinged to open and close. Very good to excellent condition, some possible paint retouch. Shepard Hardware, circa 1890.
