Description
8.5" (22 cm.) An early slant front desk of fine polished walnut with carved edging around the drop front and two lower drawers features two pull-out drawer supports, large wooden knobs, bone inlay keyhole, and a fitted desk interior with pencil drawer, center cabinet with door and four detailed niches. The workmanship is simple, yet most appealing, and the finish carries a fine warm patina. Late 18th century.
