Description

6.5" (17 cm.) Painted tin duck with dark brown head and ochre shaded wings with outlined details, painted eyes and beak, with internal voice bellows and three wheel base. When wound, the duck flaps its wings and moves forward, while the bellows (not working) causes it to quack. Very good condition, mechanism functions, some repair at inner edges of wings. Attributed to Gunthermann, Nuremburg, Germany, circa 1890.
