Description
20" (51 cm.) Tosca hair with curly bangs and hair drawn back to form an elaborate arrangement of cascading curls at back crown, overlaid with sequin-trimmed red tulle veil framed by a red velvet ribbon at top crown, real lashes, red lips, lady-shaped body, wearing tagged "holly-berry red taffeta cut skillfully with great wide skirt sweeping to the floor...and a sheer front of tulle stole with iridescent dots" (as described in Alexander catalog of 1958), white taffeta hooped petticoat, panties, stockings, red heels, pearl drop earrings, double-strand pearl necklace, faux-diamond ring and rhinestone waist brooch. Excellent condition, shoes are not original. Alexander, model #2285, 1958, the doll was described in that year's catalog as "The Lady in Red".
