16" (41 cm.) Honey-toned poured wax shoulder head turned to the right, blue glass inset eyes, painted facial features, closed mouth, delicate brunette mohair wig, German muslin body with waxed paper mache lower limbs, painted stockings and fancy peach boots with little heels and buttons, Condition: generally excellent. Comments: probably German, circa 1875 as indicated by wig and body style which are original. The doll wears her superb original muslin costume (a tad frail) with train and undergarments, and superb jewelry ensemble comprising watch and fob, pearl necklace with pearl dangle, pearl bracelet, and a fine pearl trimmed hair comb.
