23" (58 cm.) A tall walnut cupboard with arched top and matching frame of arched door has richly carved apron, scrolled feet, rich paneling on the sides, and heavy iron and brass door latch. Three interior shelves have heart-shaped edging and can be pulled forward for easy access to linens. Excellent condition. An exceptional early cupboard by a finely skilled cabinetmaker. Late 18th century.
