The two-story wooden framed dollhouse features a flat-top roof with red shingles, wide dormer at the attic lever with three windows, wide chimney, original cream painted finish with green trim, featuring a set-back front door beneath a generous porch whose roof serves as a wide balcony for the front second floor. There are two doors at the front, and two on the sides, each with Gottschalk window panes and Gottschalk door handles. There are four windows each on front first and second floors, and at the sides there are porches on both floors with three steps leading to the first floor porch. The interior features two full rooms and two foyer room. The first floor foyer features a corner closet and an elevator shaft that extends to the second floor and operates from winding handle at the exterior of the house. There are two interior doors, original electrical fixtures, original wall and floor papers, and the house is furnished with wooden coat tree, hall mirror, soft metal fancy washstand, soft metal sewing machine that is actually a tape measure, soft metal firescreen with mirror, birdcage, white tin fireplace,5 various tables and chairs and three small dolls. The house is pencil numbered "6309" on the underside. Excellent condition. Attributed to Gottschalk, circa 1912.
