14" (36 cm.) Solid domed paper mache shoulder head with painted facial features, slightly smiling expression, black painted pate under the original wig, slender kid body with wooden lower limbs, painted flat green shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1850, the doll has superb original wig with daintily coiled tiny braids, and wears her original transfer-printed muslin gown and undergarments.
