20" (51 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with elongated throat, black sculpted hair waved away from face in wide curls with center crest arranged curl, and a low pageboy arrangement low onto the back shoulders held by a snood and wide band, painted facial features with unusual upper glancing eyes enhanced by heavy eyelids, old muslin body, porcelain limbs, wearing antique cotton three-piece gown, undergarments. Condition: generally excellent, right foot broken off. Marks: 117 (script inside shoulderplate). Comments: Germany, circa 1865.
