Description
11" (28 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with black sculpted hair drawn away from face into two wide poufs at the sides, with looped wide page boy curl at the back topped by a narrow braid, stippling detail at the forehead, painted facial features, early kid body with shapely torso, separated fingers, wearing antique cotton gown with detachable cape collar, undergarments, velvet slippers. Condition: generally excellent, some rubs to hair paint at back of head. Comments: Germany, circa 1865.
