15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, French composition and wooden body with eight-loose-ball-jointing, nicely costumed as young lad. Condition: generally excellent, light nose complexion rub, repair to left foot. Marks: 5 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, his premiere bebe, circa 1878. Value Points: classic shy expression of this model is well achieved on this doll.
