Description
9" (23 cm.) Appearing as though standing upon a metal two-part circular stand is a paper mache doll with painted hair and facial features, muslin body, wooden lower limbs with painted high boots, wearing original blue muslin and lace suit with bells. Actually the doll is suspended from a wire rod that attaches to the base and causes the doll to appear to "dance" about when the base is twirled. Excellent condition, nose tip rubbed, toy operates well. Circa 1865.
