Description
16" (41 cm.) Pink tinted porcelain shoulder head with very angular slender face and elongated throat, brown sculpted hair drawn smoothly over the ears into a coiled chignon at the back of head, painted facial features, large blue eyes, brown brows exactly matching the hair, muslin body with wooden lower limbs, early homespun cotton dress with mauve pattern, shawl, undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (KPM symbol). Comments: KPM Berlin, circa 1845, very fine lustrous patina enhances the pink tinted complexion of the rare early doll.
