18" (46 cm.) Slightly pink tinted porcelain shoulder head with oval face, elongated throat, black sculpted hair loosely looped over the ears and ending in a tightly braided chignon at the back of her head, painted facial features, muslin body (recovered), porcelain lower arms, antique gown and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent, right hand restored. Comments: Germany, circa 1860, an identical coiffure to the preceding lot with less hand-pressed detail.
