Description
15" (38 cm.) One piece wooden head and torso with shapely waist and bosom, black enamel eyes, carve-defined nose, philtrum and ears, paint-over-gesso complexion and features. Condition: fair/ good, as is. Comments: English, late 18th century, from the original collection of Estrid Faurholt who described the fragment doll as "Venerable", the model is notable for its large size, and worthy of restoration.
