13" (33 cm.) Creamy porcelain shoulder head with brown painted hair drawn smoothly over the ears and into a coiled chignon at the back of head, painted facial features with unusual detail of brown eyes and brown lashes, muslin stitch-jointed body, porcelain lower arms and legs, painted boots. Condition: generally excellent, right ankle reglued. Marks: no.W7a/70. Comments: KPM, circa 1840, the superb petite model has rare color of hair and eyes that is complemented by creamy complexion tones. The doll was featured in Cieslik's German Doll Encyclopedia, page 165.
