12" (30 cm.) The heavy card-paper book is designed to hinge open with fold-down cut-outs to create a dimensional, lively and colorful presentation of children visiting the zoo. There are six internal pages as well as inside and front back covers creating an overall folded-out length of 72", and scenes include children riding the elephant, girl showing her doll to the leopards, boys teasing monkeys, and lion feeding time. Published by Schreiber, Munich. circa 1890. Excellent interior, some minor wear and spotting on covers.
