23"assembled. A japanned tin magic lantern that operates with a crank and is designed for use with 3 cm glass slides or 35 mm film, operates with the intermittent movement of film by means of Maltese cross. Included are three films, viz. man riding horseback, scenes at the zoo, and hand-drawn cartoon like story. The original chimney is missing, all other parts appear intact and in excellent condition. A rare early "moving pictures" lantern in well-preserved condition with original films. Johann, Falk, Germany, circa 1905.
