20" (51 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head of adult woman with very angular facial planes, elongated throat, fully sculpted pierced ears, brown/black sculpted hair waved away from face and arranged in tight roll at back of head with two cascading ringlet curls, painted facial features, slender muslin body with leather arms, stitched-thumbs, lovely antique sheer muslin gown with delicate edging and ribbons, undergarments, stockings, shoes. Condition: unusual matte finish of hair may be repaint, but not visible inside or out, otherwise excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870.
