6" teapot. Of fine white porcelain with gold edging, each piece is transfer decorated with an amusing scene of a colorfully dressed monkey riding an elephant. The set comprises lidded teapot, lidded sugar and cream, 4 saucers (1 chipped) and 3 teacups. Marked Bavaria with crown symbol. Germany, circa 1920.
