Description
A large wooden case with cast iron carrying handles and glass front has original arrangement, viz. wax-over-paper mache doll with blonde sculpted hair and enamel eyes, seated in a bower of tree branches upon which are perched nine feathered birds of different colorful varieties. The doll wears her original blue silk gown along with fine Alencon lace veil with a coronet of blue silk flowers. Excellent condition, one lower arm worn away, some silk frailty. Germany, circa 1875.
