Description
5.5" (14 cm.) Painted tin goose in original soft shades of creamy ochre with blue painted under-neck and face, painted eyes, yellow beak, with separate wings, and two large spoked wheels and a tiny balance wheel at the back. When wound, the goose moves along while his wings briskly flap up and down. Marked "Made in Germany". Circa 1900. Excellent condition, one paint flake on wing, movement functions well.
