9" (23 cm.) Presented inside an ornate Victorian frame with sponge-painted faux wood and gilt finish is a porcelain shoulder head doll with painted facial features, muslin body, porcelain limbs, and wearing a very unusual gown whose four-tiered ruffled skirt is composed of variegated color beaded panels. Excellent condition. Circa 1870.
