Description
14" (36 cm.) Pink tinted porcelain shoulder head with elongated throat, oval face, black sculpted hair in deep waves away from face into rolled chignon at back of head, painted facial features, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms. Condition: small piece broken off back right corner of shoulderplate by sew hole, otherwise excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1860, the doll has a lovely early costume, luminous porcelain and expression.
