Description
18" (46 cm.) A fine doll's bed is of walnut with burled inlays, richly carved posts, and a well-turned canopy with early blue fabric fringed curtains. The bed is fitted with generous mattress and bed linens upon which is resting a German black haired china doll in night shirt, with her breakfast tray that includes early porcelain plate, napkin ring and a hallmarked silver spoon. Excellent condition. Bed circa 1860, doll circa 1885.
