Description
15" (38 cm.) Paper mache socket head, painted complexion and facial features, brown outlined eyes, side-angled brows, pointy nose, closed mouth with wide beaming smile, sculpted brown sideburns, attached paper mache bi-corn hat, muslin stuffed torso, pin-jointed paper mache arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1890. Value Points: original modeled hat, wearing original cloth uniform including brown leather strap "107" holding silver soft metal sword.
