Wax over paper mache shoulder head portraying an adult woman with oval face and elongated throat, detail of modeling of chemise at the bottom rim of shoulder plate, blue enamel glass inset eyes, strong nose, defined throat hollow, original blonde mohair wig in very ornate coiffure, kid fashion body with shapely waist, original muslin shoulder form attached to the top of the kid torso, brown leather undersoles of feet, unstuffed leather hands. Condition: generally excellent, body in pristine condition. Comments: Germany, circa 1870, the fashion lady with original unique body, has original fashion gown, undergarments, leather ankle boots, brown knit stockings with unusual lambswool cuffs, and woven bonnet with original paper label. The doll was described by Faurholt in her Book of Dolls and Dollhouses as being named "Finissima", the final one, indicating it would be the final one in her collection, one that "her proud owner had sought for a very long time and would now stop collecting. But did she?" The doll was acquired by Legoland Museum with the Faurholt Collection.
