Description
10" (25 cm.) Heavy tin toy presents an unusual ferris wheel, having airships as the passenger cars, each oval car surmounted by an oval balloon, the platform decorated with four colorful flags, and the mechanism operated by a manual crank that allows the cars not only to revolve but to tip and turn within their own axis. Condition: good to very good, the base rim and one car are repainted red, there is one passenger (3 appear to be missing),mechanism functions well. Comments: Germany, circa 1895.
