24" (61 cm.) Hand-pressed porcelain shoulder head portraying an adult woman with oval face, elongated throat, black sculpted hair waved low over the ears and then forming two extended length braids that are wrapped around the back of the head and decorated by a sculpted painted hair comb, painted facial features with refined expression, muslin body, wooden lower limbs, antique sheer muslin gown, undergarments. Condition: generally excellent, tiny early chip on right shoulderplate. Comments: attributed to Rorstrand Porcelain of Stockholm, circa 1845, few examples of dolls by this firm are known to exist.
