The door, at the narrow side of the house, is paint-grained and paneled, surmounted by a steepled frame and fronted by attached steps. There are two windows at both the front and back with fancy wood-grained framed and stenciled decorations. The name "Margretes RO" is arched above the door on a dark banner with gilt lettering. The back removes for access to the single unfurnished room interior with original blue paper walls with gilt paper edging, lace curtains, and glued-wool carpet. A charming cottage with unusual architectural detail, owner's name, and good original condition.
