16" (41 cm.) Solid domed paper mache head with painted black pate, very angular face with elongated throat, painted facial features, closed mouth, tan cloth body that appears original. Condition: generally excellent, nose rub. Comments: for the French market, circa 1840, the lady wears an early silk print gown with lace trim, undergarments.
