13" (33 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead turned to the right, deeply sculpted blonde hair with tousled curls, brown glass inset eyes, closed mouth with painted downcast lips, kid gusset-jointed body with bisque lower arms, wearing an antique blue woolen sailor suit, leather shoes with silver buckles. Marks: 190 K (in bell symbol). Condition: generally excellent, left thumb chipped. Comments: C.F. Kling & Co., circa 1885, an especially appealing facial expression enhanced by fine bisque and rich enhancing glaze on sculpted hair.
