8" (20 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head with painted short brown hair beneath a sculpted blue tam with red edging and real pom-pom, painted facial features, muslin waist area, one-piece paper mache body from waist downward, painted yellow stockings and black boots on shapely legs. Condition: generally excellent, near reglue of right leg above the knee. Comments: Germany, circa 1860, rare model in unusual size with rare body, wearing original cotton costume.
