Description
14"h x 19"w x 12"d. A thick-wall wooden cottage with brown paper lithographed finish and painted black sloping roof features a paint-decorated front door flanked by columns with surmounting arched portico, and fronted by unusual gradual-width curving front steps. There are 2 floor-to-ceiling paned windows at the front and each side, two dormer windows in the roof, and a center chimney. The only access is through the front door and a hinged door in the rear roof. The one-room interior has old wall and floor paper and curtains. The house is unfurnished excepting a rug and two pictures. Structurally excellent, the brown paper finish is worn. Circa 1890.
