9" (23 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of plump-faced child with very pale complexion, blonde sculpted hair waved away from face into short pageboy curls, exposed ears, painted blue eyes, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower limbs, wearing lovely blue muslin printed gown and hand-stitched undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1875, a rare variation of the model known as Alice in Wonderland has unpainted hair ribbon.
