5" (13 cm.) Pinewood four-drawer chest of unusual construction with protruding drawer ends and simple silver ring pulls, has a fine original painted finish of blue/grey background with gold edging and fancifully painted flowers and leaves in variegated colors. The design is on the drawer fronts, top, and both sides. Excellent condition. Mid-19th century.
