15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue enamel eyes with spiral threading, painted facial features, closed mouth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, cork pate, French kid body with shapely torso and limbs. Condition: generally excellent, tiniest pinflake on right eye rim. Marks: 2. Comments: Gaultier, circa 1870, the poupee is wearing her original elaborate folklore costume with silk apron and headdress, padded bodice, velvet trimmed skirt, undergarments, shoes.
