Description
15" (38 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with very plump face, cobalt blue glass eyes, delicate complexion, dark outlined eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, accent line between the lips, unpierced ears, blonde human hair, kid poupee body with gusset jointing at hips, knees and elbows, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, some patching to kid body. Marks: B 3 5. Comments: French, circa 1865, attributed to Blampoix. Value Points: beautiful face whose pale complexion is a striking contrast to brilliant blue eyes.
