Description
18" (46 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted facial features, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, pierced ears, Gesland body from original Pannier patent with padded stockinette over metal armature, bisque hands and lower legs, bare bisque feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3 (head and limbs) F.G. (shoulderplate). Comments: Gaultier, circa 1875, with rare body style allowing infinite articulation, beautiful bisque limbs.
