Description
4" (10 cm.) 4" doll. The wooden dollhouse furnishings are decorated with gilt stenciled ebony lithographed paper to suggest rich woods, including hall mirror with marble shelf, bed with rose silk bed covers, toilette table with etagere back, wash stand with drawer, and Recamier with royal purple silk upholstery. Included is a bisque shoulder head doll portraying an adult lady with exquisitely detailed face and blonde hair arranged in curls with blue bow at the forehead, muslin body, bisque lower limbs, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1880.
