16" (41 cm.) Pale bisque shoulder head with elongated throat, painted brown hair in center part waved away from face is soft curls and loosely woven braids, and brought to the back of the head into a loosely braided coil, painted facial features, blue eyes, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2X. Comments: Germany, circa 1875, rare hair color with very fine detail of sculpting, early cotton gown, undergarments, leather slippers.
